Dan Matthies is Global Head of the Bloomberg Partnership at Clearwater Analytics, where he leads the joint go-to-market and platform strategy behind a next-generation, front-to-back investment operating solution for institutional asset managers, insurance companies, and asset owners.
Dan spent over two decades at Bloomberg building and scaling its buy-side business serving the world's leading asset managers, hedge funds, and asset owners. As a corporate entrepreneur, he was responsible for all aspects of strategy, product, growth and P&L — creating over $3 billion in enterprise value.
Alongside his operating career, Dan has built a substantial track record as an investor: as Founding Partner and CEO of Reaction Global, a Stanford-affiliated venture fund, he led a team that backed companies now valued at more than $6 billion across fintech, AI, cleantech, and health tech. He is also Founder and Principal of Solstice Capital, investing across real estate, private equity, private debt, and venture capital.
